Research Description
The research in our troup is focused on the decay dynamics of excited states of lanthanide ions and complexes. This includes photophysical mechanims for radiative and non-radiative relaxation and gas-phase photochemical mechanisms in metal-organic compounds leadting to formation of reduced metallic lanthanides or lanthanide binary and ternary compounds.
Laser assisted MOCVD
Gas phase photochemistry of laser assisted chemical vapor deposition (LCVD) precursors, targeted for deposition of high-dielectric-constant oxides, semiconductor nitrides, and pure metal, et al.
Lanthanide doped nanoparticels
Lanthanide doped inorganic nanoparticles (e.g. LaF3 and NaYF4) preparation and photophysical and structural characterization for new phosphor materials.
lanthanide in ionic liquid
lanthanide ions coordination and/or their complexes in ionic liquid.
